Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) is designed specifically to help us answer the question: Are our students making progress in reading? SRI provides information for teachers to work more efficiently by fostering improved planning for instruction as well as the ability to better match students to the appropriately leveled text, encouraging growth and success.

• Matches readers to text (Scholastic Reading Inventory, Educator’s Guide).

The proficiency growth report shows the growth of students are the proficiency scale. Keep in mind the average growth per year should be between 75 and 100.
